Corona Virus Live Updates!

States are ramping up regulations on their citizens’ moves as confirmed coronavirus cases inside the United States surge closer to 20,000, sending huge groups of the U.S. population into lockdown.

Italy introduced 627 deaths, the county’s maximum in a day, as did Spain with 324 deaths.

Here are some big developments:

  1. Illinois joined California and New York in ordering residents to stay at home, and Oregon officers indicated Friday that similar restrictions are at the horizon.
  2. Australian government ordered people off Sydney’s well-known Bondi Beach Saturday, after hundreds took to the sand in defiance of calls for social distancing and a ban on large gatherings.
  3. Singapore showed its first deaths from the disease, a 75-year-old Singaporean female and a 64-year-old Indonesian man. The United Arab Emirates also suggested its first deaths, a 78-year-vintage “Arab national” and a 58-year-vintage “Asian” UAE resident.
  4. The Air Force flew 89 Americans who have been stranded in Honduras again to the United States.
  5. In another sign of the demanding situations created through a shortage of coronavirus tests within the United States, fitness officers in Los Angeles County are instructing doctors to handiest check sick humans if a diagnosis might trade how they might be treated.
