Face Masks, Health Experts' Opinions

Is it good for you or not to wear a face mask during the coronavirus epidemic? This is what health specialists state:

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

The association suggests that, you don't have to wear a face mask except if you are helping an infected person. However, if you are infected by the virus, you have to wear a face mask when you are with others, or sharing a room or vehicle with someone.

The World Health Organization:

WHO recommends to wear a cover if you are infected by the virus, or you are taking care of and infected individual. The organization doesn't recommend the whole population to wear a face mask.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, from the National Institute of Allergy:

Dr. Anthony said the social distancing can't be substituted by wearing face masks, yet rather can be a higher level of precautions.

CNN's Sanjay Gupta:

He clarified that masks could help individuals who have coronavirus from spreading the infection. The best approach to consider this mask issue is that it's not still for individuals who are not contaminated. This is more for individuals who are contaminated without there knowledge, and to attempt to bring down the probability that they will spread this to another person.

Can Coronavirus (COVID-19) Spread Through Respiration Machines?

One of the main concerns confronting emergency clinics and hospitals is the limited supply of ventilators, since they predict that COVID-19/coronavirus cases will increase. Medical clinics and hospitals in Italy hold a very big number of patients with respiratory problems, where doctors are put in very difficult and overwhelming positions; they need to choose who gets a ventilator and who doesn't.

How ventilators work?

Ventilators push air all through the lungs through cylinders down the patients' aviation routes when they experience difficulty in breathing all alone. The medical gadgets can have the: volume of air provided, the pace of breathing, the measure of oxygen and the weight varying adjusted by the nurse or the person in charge.

In the U.S., crisis plans and measures were made by states because of the ventilator shortage, where they will use other specialized pressure machines to help hospitalized individuals with less serious breathing issues.

In a way, the plan that the U.S took can extend the stockpile of ventilators and spare lives but it has a significant disadvantage. Researchers have known for quite a long time that when utilized with a face cover, such gadgets can spread the illness and infection(in this case coronavirus), regardless of whether utilized in a medical clinic or at home.

Hantavirus! Should We Worry?

No, the world isn't going to get hit with a hantavirus pandemic, as well.

A man in China died from the hantavirus, which is one of a group of infections spread by rodents that can cause malady in people. The man from Yunnan Province in southwest China was going east by transport to Shadong Province, and the 32 others that were board are being examined for hantavirus, as indicated by the state-run Global Times paper.

Dr. Tania Elliott from NYU Langone Health in Manhattan revealed that hantavirus has really been around for quite a while, "for centuries," and that it is generally predominant in China with somewhere in the range of 16,000 to 100,000 cases per year.
Unlike the coronavirus (which spreads through sneezes and coughs), the hantavirus is spread by contact with mice and their saliva and secretions. So staying away from the hantavirus essentially comes down to maintaining a strategic distance from contact with rodents, Dr. Elliott said.

Easter 2020 Trump Wants to Open Up the Country

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he needs the U.S. economy to "open" back up by Easter Sunday, notwithstanding alerts about the lethal risk of the coronavirus. Easter is April 12, less than three weeks from now.

Trump's comments in a Fox News "virtual town hall" occasion at the White House came as more states forced outrageous measures, including closing down organizations and requesting inhabitants to remain at home, to attempt to slow the spread of coronavirus.

"We're opening up this fantastic nation. Since we need to do that. I couldn't imagine anything better than to have it open by Easter," Trump said.
"I couldn't want anything more than to have that. It's such a significant day for different reasons, yet I'd love to make it a significant day for this. I couldn't want anything more than to have the nation opened up, and chomping at the bit to pass by Easter."

In a second meeting with Fox that disclosed Tuesday evening, Trump said he offered the occasion as a cutoff time since "Easter's an exceptionally unique day for me."

“Wouldn’t it be great to have all the churches full?” Trump asked. “You’ll have packed churches all over our country … I think it’ll be a beautiful time.”
“I’m not sure that’s going to be the day,” but “that would be a beautiful thing.”

In another meeting on Tuesday evening, Trump seemed to support his earlier statement.
"We'll possibly do it if it's acceptable,"

Trump stated that he is in contact with White House specialists to study the issue.

“I just think it would be a beautiful timeline.”
“Our decision will be based on hard facts and data as to the opening” of the economy, Trump said in that presser. “Every decision is grounded solely in the health, safety and well-being of our citizens.”

“Obviously Trump is not rooted in reality,” said Dr. Tina Tan, a board individual from the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

U.S Senator Rand Paul Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Senator Rand Paul tested positive for the coronavirus, and Senator Mitch McConnell directly informed other Republicans over lunch. It was the news that officials had been fearing for quite a long time as they approached their meetings and handshake-overwhelming schedules.

The news lead people to backtrack the transportation of Mr. Paul, who had kept on appearing in the Senate, where he swam laps in the pool on Sunday morning, until he got the results of his coronavirus test later after his exercise.

Mr. Paul, 57, Republican of Kentucky and a previous eye doctor, was "asymptomatic," his staff stated, calming peoples' worries about his well-being regardless of a 2017 physical issue that damaged his lungs. His results also raised the probability that different individuals from the 100-man Senate, where half are 65 or older, may become sick or need to self-isolate as they were dashing to authorize the rescue plan.

Mr. Paul later knew that a weekend ago, he was present in an event in Kentucky with two people who later tested positive for Covid-19, which lead other officials and official representatives to begin self-isolation.

Putin did not Unleash Lions in Russia (Fake News)

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, "Nasir Chinioti" posted two photos on Twitter, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the other of a lion wandering on the street, claiming that Putin released 800 tigers and lions in Russia to reduce the citizens' movement. Nasir supported the measures taken by Putin and said that this will "push individuals to remain at home."

The post started spreading across all social media platforms and on several popular pages until it got about 1,200 shares on Facebook, and the tweet has amassed over 34,000 retweets.

Then the picture was traced back to April 2016, and turned out to be from South Africa's Johannesburg and has nothing to do with the ongoing pandemic.

All in all, an old picture of a lion walking around South Africa's Johannesburg was related to the story that Russia is limiting the developments of its resident leaving 800 tigers and lions roam in the streets.

Symptoms of Coronavirus and How to Fight It

"What are the symptoms of coronavirus ?"

According to the World Health Organization, coronavirus causes high temperature, a sense of tiredness, and  dry and continuous coughs. And this organization states that 1 in 6 people who have the virus will endure a severe illness, and the people with great risk of feeling illness from coronavirus are the elderly, especially those who have medical conditions in the heart, respiratory system, or blood pressure, since they have weak immune systems.

"Should I take any medicines or see a doctor ?"

Taking medicines and antibiotics will just make it worse, seeing a doctor won't help and the virus may be transferred to him, so it is advised to stay at home for 7 to 14 days without company if one has this virus, since self-isolation is the only way in which this virus can be fought.
