Joe Diffie, a star to numerous country music fans for his series of No. 1 hits during the 1990s, has passed away after going through medical problems related to the coronavirus. He was 61.
The statement included:
“Grammy-winning country music legend Joe Diffie passed away today, Sunday, March 29, from complications of coronavirus (COVID-19)”
The first country music star to open up to the world about a coronavirus analysis is Diffie. He did that through an announcement where he stated that he is going through treatment by medical experts. Joe also asked his fans to be careful during this pandemic.
Diffie is an easily recognized name to any country music fan who grew up tuning in to the 1990s' music. He had a minimum of 20 top 10 country music hits, from which 5 went to the top 1. Two of his 13 collections went platinum and another two went gold.
Fans started posting a tune after finding out about his passing, that was No. 3 back in 1993, however was his most played song after his death, and it holds the title of "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)."
