U.S Senator Rand Paul Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Senator Rand Paul tested positive for the coronavirus, and Senator Mitch McConnell directly informed other Republicans over lunch. It was the news that officials had been fearing for quite a long time as they approached their meetings and handshake-overwhelming schedules.

The news lead people to backtrack the transportation of Mr. Paul, who had kept on appearing in the Senate, where he swam laps in the pool on Sunday morning, until he got the results of his coronavirus test later after his exercise.

Mr. Paul, 57, Republican of Kentucky and a previous eye doctor, was "asymptomatic," his staff stated, calming peoples' worries about his well-being regardless of a 2017 physical issue that damaged his lungs. His results also raised the probability that different individuals from the 100-man Senate, where half are 65 or older, may become sick or need to self-isolate as they were dashing to authorize the rescue plan.

Mr. Paul later knew that a weekend ago, he was present in an event in Kentucky with two people who later tested positive for Covid-19, which lead other officials and official representatives to begin self-isolation.
